The Digital Development Center participated in the \u201cCyber \u200b\u200bSecurity for Community Security\u201d Conference, sponsored by the Non-Governmental Organizations Department in cooperation with the Iraqi Media and Communications Commission, on Monday, 4\/11\/2022 in the \u201cAl-Mahatta\u201d Hall.<\/p>\n

\n

A number of representatives from civil society organizations and independent institutions interested in information and communications technology participated, alongside experts in the field of cybersecurity.<\/p>\n

A representative from the Non-Governmental Organizations Department spoke, followed by a representative from the Iraqi Media and Communications Commission and a representative from the Digital Development Center.<\/p>\n

\n

The conference addressed various issues, foremost being the confidentiality of governmental, institutional and personal data, how to protect it from infiltration and leakage, and the most important protocols to prevent breaches. The experts also spoke about their greatest achievements in spreading awareness and the digital culture, and guiding citizens on how to protect their digital identities.<\/p>\n
